I loved the clip with the hippies, funny how there's always a youth culture rebelling as they do, it's interesting to see it. They will be grandparents now, I wonder if they watch this and how they feel :)

Such sad news:(, one of the best ever Broadcasters and seemed such a nice guy. My thoughts are with his loved ones.

He was known in the US as well. For the famous interview he had with Nixon just after his resignation.

He was on some sort of working holiday, as I understand it, giving lectures on the cruise ship Queen Elizabeth when he had a sudden, completely unexpected heart attack.
Only 74..... no age at all these days. Very sad. R.I.P.

I big loss, a really great interviewer and also someone who really prompted you to listen when he is saying something or making a speech too.
He was definitely one of the real greats as to TV.
