I don't like her and it has nothing to do with her looks as a lot of ppl mention when they are saying they don't like her. She annoyed the hell out of me when she was on BBBOTS but the main reason I don't like her is that she acts like a baby. She cant take any kind of criticism like the fact she is dirty or untidy and when she found out she was up for eviction she just went into the bedroom and crawled into bed. She is an adult and she knows what the show is about. She is not ABOVE being nominated by others and I think she feels she is superior. She isn't. She certainly DOES NOT deserve to win

She makes me laugh,

I am starting to come full circle with Lauren. When I heard she was going in I thought - Oh no! Then I could see she was making a huge effort and I warmed to her. I felt sorry that her mother has sent her in with an unnecessarily large 'old lady's' wardrobe. I thought her mother was vile when Emma interviewed her - saying she had not missed her and pointing out that Lauren has curvature of the spine (meaning that viewers should not judge her on her bad deportment). I believe that it's her mother's cruel and constant pushing of Lauren that has caused Lauren's separation from reality (not her sexual dysmorphia). However, as time has gone by I am struck by how Lauren demands so much support without realising it. She believes that if she polishes it will keep her in - yet still leaves used tissues all over the floor. Whilst it is important for people to adjust to others with special needs Lauren is seemingly divorced from reality and in a complete bubble. Her clothes are not helping and her neediness is getting very hard to watch. She does not seem to engage when watching others do their tasks. I'm afraid I am struggling to like her again. Maybe this will change...

I don't think she has ever been socialised...Maybe that's the problem. She wasn't made to go to school and has always lived in her parents world with her parents dubious values.

That would be the most perfect outcome for Lauren. I am not hopeful this will happen whilst Lauren continues to live at home. Her family have taught her that buying a degree is better than getting out and studying for one. They kept her at home when she should have been out learning to deal with the bullies that tormented her. What 35 year old woman would wear those old-fashioned clothes from a bygone era? She is constantly over-dressed for a 1950s cocktail party. I wish she could find the strength to break away and start to make a life for herself.

I heard that she has dyspraxia which I understand will make her clumsy - I did't realise this also affects the ability to see the trail of mess she leaves behind. If this is the case then she should tell them as they might be more forgiving. It's all just so complex with Lauren. I think she may also have vitiligo too...there's no end to the complications. Lauren's life is very hard indeed...

Not too sure if that's wise though. It might be better to ask for understanding - if they knew they might be able to understand and make allowances for her dyspraxia.
To be honest I don't think any of them have gone in there to try and make allowances for or understand Lauren. I am starting to think that this prog might be the worst vehicle Lauren could have used if she wanted to engender understanding and acceptance. It just takes up too much time and as a result other HMs - like Abz for instance lose airtime.

That would be the most perfect outcome for Lauren. I am not hopeful this will happen whilst Lauren continues to live with that vile hag of a mother. If she could somehow separate herself from the vulture-like clutches of this predatory woman she might have half a chance. Her family have taught her that buying a degree is better than getting out and studying for one. They kept her at home when she should have been out learning to deal with the bullies that tormented her. What 35 year old woman would wear those old-fashioned clothes from a bygone era? She is constantly over-dressed for a 1950s cocktail party.Lauren is a victim of her mother's bad taste and judgement. I wish she could find the strength to break away and start to make a life for herself.
I think she could do with a friend or two to help her gain the strength to break away. I think she's probably led such a sheltered life its just about ruined it. Do you know, I'd like Lauren to write a book when she comes out about her life up to now, I'd read it, bet it would be really interesting.

I suppose only Laurens family and doctors know whether she has or not, after having viewed the symptoms on the net I think perhaps it is quite possible she does suffer with it.
She does seem to have quite a few of the symptoms, especially the emotiona and behaviour aspect. Then again I'm no doctor so I'm just speculating of course.

I'm transgender too so I understand her better than some on here.So I've always been on Lauren's side. We're just like everyone else,
some of of us have good hearts and some bad, and apart from me understanding Lauren's anxiety at how others will treat her and understanding the trapped indoors bit
as well as threats and abuse which me and other trans people I know have had plenty of,
and it's so f hard to get the permissions for ops all because of the lack of education about us in the public which means we only get one thing funded after years upon years of battling to get it,
I also think Lauren has a good heart, so I like her as a person too.

Sorry, her obsession with fame doesnt endear me to her. I find her absolute need alarming.
If she has no friends at the age of 35 then you have to ask yourself why?
Winning this show would probably make no difference to her personality, or rather lack of.
