Gerrawash! :joker:

Seen this article today just shows the cheaper products are just as effective.

''Claire used £1 Nivea cream on half her face - and £105 Crème de la Mer on the other. The results are VERY revealing''

''I return to Nicolas for the final results and he's unequivocal. According to the dermatologist's scans, Nivea has performed best. He says the left-hand side of my face - where I used Nivea - has retained better hydration than its rival. Not only this, but my redness has reduced and some of the fine lines around my eyes have disappeared.
On the Nivea side, he thinks I have the skin of someone five years younger than I am.
While I felt that both creams made my skin look great, if you can get better results for a fraction of the price of Crème de la Mer and a lot less hassle in the morning, the winner is obvious.
So when a friend rings me from Lidl to tell me Nivea Crème is on special offer - a 200ml pot is just £1.99 - I ask her to buy me two.''

I'm off to Lidl!

What is it? sounds like a sports car haha!
A friend of mine says she fancies microdermabrasion, but that sounds way too extreme to me.

Yeah I fancy microdermabrasion too, but I've never got round to trying it and I'm not to sure about the cost of it.

That gadget looks rubbish! nearly £200.... total con imo.
If you want to deep cleanse and flush out impurities and toxins just steam your face?
All you need are a bowl of boiling water and a towel.... much cheaper :D
For most too I would say a decent facial scrub is better than something as drastic as dermabrasion or peels. My friend is has always been a bit concious of her acne scars, thats the only reason she considered this I think.

I don't know lol I've read all good things about it, I've not seen any bad reviews, but then again I do have a tendency to buy into things like this that end up being crap lol. I'm all for trying anything that will improve my skin though so perhaps that's why.

Yeah I've herd people say its quite intense an can be sore.

I was too once, but you get wise to 'gimmicks' nothing that forces things in or out of your skin can be that healthy I guess haha.
I bet it would be awful sore too, my worry would be it would do more harm than good too.
Maybe that's something to look into in the 50's when I have lots of fine lines and such, but for now not going to do anything too intensive.

Probably wise, I worry that I'll end up doing more damage than good.

Wash my face without soap. Slap the Astral on, not too many wrinkles for my age.

My mother used Nivea all her life and had a beautiful complexion when she popped her clogs.

Use Astral and cotton wool pads to remove makeup as well

Just started using Angels on bare Skin from Lush. I love it, my skin had gotten a bit irritated the last while and this really seems to be helping it

I'm over due a deep cleansing clay face mask, I have to say the best ones are when you lay on the bed with a towel under your head and your other half puts it on.

In the morning I clean my face with Lush 'Angels on Bare Skin' cleanser, spray my face with La Roche Posay toner spray and moisturize and that's it really, plus then makeup but that's not really makeup..

At night I remove makeup with Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm, then clean my face with No7 Facial Oil, and then I use the No7 Vitamin C Oil or Elizabeth Arden Superstart Serum. I then use Elizabeth Arden 8-hour lip balm before bed.

Then twice a week I use my face brush thing I forget what it's called it's a Clarins with an exfoliate and use the Lush Rose Face Mask.
