.....I'm guessing they'll make more in 3 weeks than I do in a year.
And do they get more money the longer they stay?
If not I'm not surprised they (almost) all want to go.

The average is apparently £50-80k according to one of the entertainment sites.

However, it is alleged that Bruce got only £15k and that some celebs have negotiated fees of £250-300k. Not clear whether any of the current lot are getting megabucks - I rather doubt it. Lol! ;)

The get the same fee whether they are evicted in the first week or the last. They get no fee if they walk.

Ex-Coronation Street actor Bruce Jones is one of the lowest paid Celebrity Big Brother housemates ever, despite the fact his on-screen wife Vicky Entwistle has bagged £150,000, it’s reported.

According to The Mirror, Bruce – best known for playing Les Battersby on the ITV soap – will earn just £15,000 for taking part in the Channel 5 show.

This is ten times less than the rumoured six-figure fee that’s been banked by Vicky, who played Corrie’s Janice Battersby for fourteen years.

It is also less than half the £55,000 that Bruce apparently turned down when CBB bosses offered him a place in the eleventh series in January.

The 60-year-old is thought to have agreed to the low sum after falling on hard times, with The Sun revealing earlier this year that he is now working as a mechanic to make ends meet.

A C5 spokesperson told the newspaper that they ‘don’t comment’ on the celebrities’ contracts.

The highest paid Celebrity Big Brother contestants to date are believed to be pop duo Jedward, who were reportedly paid £1million for their 2011 appearance.
