Just funny that I thought it and a couple of people at work said they instantly thought he was gay. Apparently it's been suggested a lot in the past. They both married to raise their profiles-get press for the age difference and get in the papers, mags etc

It never occured to me that Doug was gay. I don't think he is effeminate or anything. Yet my husband asked me who the gay chap was on TV when Doug was being interviewed. He thought Doug was very effeminate, but frankly I can't see it. I think he is a chancer out to make money, but gay? No.
