View Full Version : Big Brother House open to the public 27, 28 Sept!!

SSL2012

£16 admission charge, includes a full tour of the house (inc diary room).

National Trust are the company responsible for this occuring. Some people criticising the trust, saying the bb house isn't a national treasure, and isn't important to the heritage of the country etc. I think for it's time, it has a massive heritage in reality t.v and will forever be known as the mother of that genre.

Getting quite a bit of publicity too.

Anyone gunna go to this?

Anne Widdecombe mouthing off.

I can't believe she used the word tawdry either given the fact she's clearly never watched and she made some pretty horrific television on that dancing show.

If this is successful (which if they've sold out already it looks like it will be), I do hope they'll put more dates on or make this an annual thing, rather than a one-off.

I have always thought they should open it up to the public but never in my life did I think they actually would...especially not the National Trust either :o

When I heard "National Trust" and "Opening BB house" today, I actually had to look at the calendar to maker sure it was not April 1st. Very pleasantly surprised :D

It's a bit silly and surprising that it's a National Trust thing but I don't think it's a bad idea on it's own and I don't see anything wrong with opening it up in general, some people have an interest in visiting TV/film sets...hence why I'd love to go and had to get a ticket.

As it stands I'll just have to wait and see all the glorious pictures (those who go) that will be shared on here.
