Once again, it would be more trouble than it's worth for them to deny something that is actually true. She has the odd wobble and it can be hard to watch - but she tries to remain positive. She's human! She is a good example of turning poison into medicine. She has never once complained and she has never once insulted the viewers by saying she wants to go home. She deserves some credit for that.

If she thinks she is beautiful and she thinks she is a good singer and she thinks she is talented all of these things have been needed for her to become strong. Would some people prefer it if she totally unravelled and became a gibbering mess? A lot of viewers were concerned that she would have a meltdown - she hasn't - she has held it together consistently. She has the odd wobble and it can be hard to watch - but she tries to remain positive. She's human! She is a good example of turning poison into medicine. Charlottes point was that everyone should have a level playing field and that if Lauren at 35 is so needy that when she is ill she has to be visited by her Mother she should not be in the house, which I agree with.

I don't think there has been a single night that Lauren has not made the Highlights but she was obviously was "so ill" at some point that it gave rise to the HMs suspicions that she saw her Mum which if she did is wholly unfair as of course is gives her an advantage as she knows now how she is perceived. As well as the kid glove treatment she got during BBFM this is a total farce.

To me a phone call means nothing. It only made Charlotte go crazy for no reason. The equal playing field doesn't make sense. She didn't give Bruce an equal playing field, she kept people awake at night making stupid noises. That isn't an equal playing field. Life is never an equal playing field. A phone call does mean something though, again it's preferential treatment from BB/the producers so the rest of your post is just blabbering and adds nothing constructive to this debate.

I don't get why people are so confused about preferential treatment being unfair..



A phone call is still contact with the outside world and Lauren is in no way entitled to have that over the rest of the housemates.

Carol has been ill almost every single morning since she entered the house yet she still hasn't had a private phone call with her BF!

How many times must I say this! Charlotte and Vicky were arguing as to whether it was fair or not that Lauren had contact with her Mother! So surely that is the confirmation!

WOW! BB covering their lie! Just re-watched live feed as I knew I had seen Vicky, Charlotte and Lauren discussing this. Vicky said Lauren had SEEN her parents because she was "poorly".Lauren was sitting next to her and didn't say she hadn't. That has all been muted out!! The sound comes back on at Charlotte saying "yeah Vicky but you're saying that Lauren was poorly" which isn't easy to hear as Vicky is talking over her !!Lauren said nothing to refute it at any time. Cover up definitely! Louie also said to Vicky earlier that Lauren had "seen" her parents. It looked like it was common knowledge as no-one disagreed. Why mute out the proof the day after BB denied this ?????
