Ok so as you know I have been watching seasons of BBUS starting from season 2; before I start can I just say that season 2 was great.

BB3 was a fantastic series, I was so hooked onto it and didn't really want it to end, it had a very good mix of houseguests, amazing tasks/twists which s**t all over BBUK and most importantly a likeable winner.

Honest opinions on the housemates:

Amy - Love <3 I think she's gonna be my favourite female housemate of all time, love how she made it so far as well.

Chiara - I was so mehh with her, liked her at times but disliked her at other times, she wasn't a very good game player but she was very likeable in her last days

Danielle - Where do I start with this queen!? Not only was she the best gameplayer she entertained me from day one, that's a perfect combination! She should have won because Big Brother is a gameshow and so many people forget that. My favourite Danielle moment is when she gave Lori that "stank" look during the argument

Eric - BYE. Irrelevant, dull, he was nice looking and he had a good job but that's all I can really remember, oh and he talked in his sleep but no1cur. When it was out of him and Amy to get voted back into the house I was literally saying this to myself out loud: "if this boring ass b*tch gets voted back in over Amy"

Gerry - I didn't have high hopes at first due to the dreadful, horrible, undeserving irrelevant mess of the Gerry that was in BB10 but we're not gonna talk about him because I can already feel my blood boil. *breathe* ok, Gerry came across as very genuine and really put his heart on the line which I feel lead to his downfall; along with a few annoying habits (wash yo nasty ass hands), was glad that he beat the people who wanted him out (bar Lisa) and had good relationships with other houseguests.

Jason - :worship:   :worship: ONLY criticism is that he should have stepped his weave up in the final HOH challenge.

Josh - Hated him at first then he kinda grew on me; especially at the point where the whole house was against him but it was his own fault for being messy, I liked all the cool stuff he did with his moustache and his relationship with his gf was cute. He did have some genuinely funny moments as well, OMG how can I forget when he called out Chiara on live tv :worship:

Lisa - Love, love l.o.v.e. So genuine and lovely, however, when Gerry said that she was "lucky" he was very spot on because she was, she didn't really have any game playing strategies other than getting her revenge on Chiara. Happy she won purely because I liked her as a person but Danielle deserved it

Lori - Lol, she should have stayed longer. Her and Danielles argument will go down in history, they showed so much of her out the house though, I was just like "b*tch you're not goin back in"

Marcellas - Love this DIVA, I think that in terms of entertainment he had the whole package, his relationship with Amy was so interesting to watch because it was almost like boyfriend and girlfriend. In terms of game playing he wasn't that good and dug his own hole when he basically evicted himself.

Roddy - Wasn't a favourite of mine to start with, probably because Eric was bringing him down with the dullness. He was more likeable when Eric left and shown promising signs of game playing, I hated him and Chiara's relationship though, it was like teacher - pupil.

Tonya - Really liked Tonya, definitely should have stayed longer. She sorta reminded me of Michelle from BB5 UK

I LOVED the launch night twist, so well thought of, kinda sad that it flopped in terms of the money increasing; damn you Lori.

Julie's deliberate awkwardness - on eviction nights she would call out two housemates who hate each other and be like "so have you two made up yet? xx"

The concert episode

The table and chairs getting smaller, that would actually scare me if I was living there.

Perfect mix of drama, funny moments and plotting

Allowing houseguests to go in the outside world but still maintaining the social experiment BB aspect.

The houseguests goodbye messages to the evicted houseguest, I'm gonna be honest I almost got teary eyed at some of them

The birth of the power of veto! I felt like I was watching a moment of vital history

Dislikes

The theme music, never been a fan. Also the sims-like music when the housemate is evicted, and why is it so bright outside? :suspect:

Some eviction episodes used to drag on and would have a really long segment of something that isn't even that funny

I'm trying to think of more dislikes but I don't think there's any left, that's how much I enjoyed this series.

Now, off to watch BB4 USA and if it's anything like BB4 UK then ya'll better pray for me

Make sure to do reviews in Spoiler Tags in case people who are re-watching accidentally hover over this by mistake.

Danielle, Marcellas, Amy, Jason, Lisa and Gerry were my favourites. I wanted Danielle to win so badly, such a shame she didn't as she really deserved it

The season aired 11 years ago so I don't think spoiler tags are necessary tbh. Glad you liked BB3 though! And I hope you don't find BB4 boring. It was seen as boring at the time and it's probably the weakest Shapiro season but that doesn't really say much, especially with the Grodner era. I wouldn't even say Lisa was that lucky, she played a strong game and completely reconstructed everything in stellar fashion after Eric was evicted. I know she's still seen as inferior to Danielle (even though she knew they would get to watch the episodes but whatever, the "was Danielle robbed?" arguments are almost as painful as "was Dan robbed?" and "was Russell Hantz robbed?" so I'm really not looking to open that can of worms) but she wasn't undeserving at all. Also like a 9-1 vote is a blowout and it would've been 10-0 against Jason so that's rather hard to defend.

And Tonya killed two people drunk driving a few years ago and that kinda sours any charm she had in the show.

Well they are necessary cause some of us are still watching seasons back, and I have a feeling you've just posted another spoiler in that post (I skipped past it so if you didn't I apologise) which really wouldn't be fair seeing as in my case I've seen BB3 but don't want other seasons spoiled

I don't see anything wrong with sticking a winner spoiler in a tag, it hardly requires much effort

Well they're not necessary when a thread is clearly labeled "Germyle's review on BB3 USA!" and the only information you can get from hovering over the title without clicking is that Germyle watched BB2 before this and enjoyed it. These shows happened years ago, and maybe I'm giving you lot too much credit but I would like to think that people will have enough judgment and common sense to not read something about a season they want to watch in the near future.

Lisa:love: She did so well in the later part of the season. She might not have 'run' the game, but she knew what to do and when to do it.

Danielle should have won. An all around amazing player.

In a recent interview that Danielle did on RHAP. She said she didn't know anything about Big Brother the first time she went on. She didn't even know about the live feeds or even who Dr. Will was.

Jury Management is one the main aspects of the game, she failed at it. I wonder if they was sequestered like they are now, would she have won?

They all loved her when they were voted out. ON RHAP Danielle said the vote would have been close if there was a jury house. Something like 4-3 with either her or Lisa winning. She also said people in the house kept saying they do not want another Dr. Will winning. So that hurt her too.

I don't know I think she would have still lost; from what I recall Roddy really disliked her and Merceles would have been against her because she backstabbed him.

I think she was always going to be runner up, she would have lost to either Lisa or Jason in final 2.

BB3 :worship: The best season of BBUS by a mile, mostly because of Amy and Danielle. It's criminal that Amy wasn't on All-Stars, but I have faith that she'll make a glorious return someday. Danielle was a fantastic houseguest but she really ****ed up her game by going to the final three with Jason and Lisa, and like... she was planning on taking everyone's best friend, the saintly virgin JASON to the final two of all people? I don't see how people can ignore the unimaginable stupidity of that decision. She was playing for second place and that's what she got.

Danielle had never seen the show previously before until after BB3 had finished, so she probably didn't realise the nature of her DR's would be shown so much. When you think about it, nearly all the evictees said in their interviews that they liked Danielle, but then come finale night, after they' seen DRs, they all hated her.

Amy was invited but she declined it.

It's her fault for not preparing better, but anyway she was fully aware that the jury wasn't being sequestered. She made the jury hate her with her "ghetto fabulous" DRs and there's no getting around that.
