C5 are now using Bb's popularity to launch new shows eg Love/Hate, Under The Dome, Wentworth and it's getting silly now. If bb was doing less well in ratings this wouldn't happen

They're using the "captive audience" to try and generate an audience for 3rd class shows, hope it works in reverse, if they lose the interest of BB fans what are they going to sandwich BB with?

Yeah noticed this when they were advertising that celebrity spa through the week.

The last time it was because of Under The Dome starting..

They are trying to get the BB viewers to stay on that channel for their 'new' shows.

To be fair they are trying to grow as a channel and Under The Dome and Wentworth have proven popular due to the lead in from BB hence Channel 5' share on the up and literally tail gating Channel 4 but I agree its super ****ing annoying.

Splitting the BB14 final damaged its ratings big time. The 2nd half lost about 400,000 viewers due to it being on so late to make time for Under The Dome but that may also be partially due to Sam winning aswell lol.

Atleast Celebrity Spa actually bares similarities to CBB and isn't just a random blockbuster type show randomly sandwiched in between a reality show.

To be honest though I think these new shows would have a more stable audience or even grow if they had their own night dedicated to them and not mooch off Big Brothers popularity.
