This time as one of our new co-presenters of The Voice
We will find out the 4th coach and new presenter next week.
I'll provide a source in a bit bye.

So did Holly and Reggie both quit?
I can't imagine Emma presenting The Voice.

What about BB? :suspect: Don't they both clash? Or are they scheduling the show so Emma can do BB and The Voice?

Well... make even worse than it already is.

The Voice is on in January next year.
I am liking these decisions.. go with the USA format and they might actually have a HIT.

Yeah, I think a late January launch would be the best for them...
They do it early Jan and the momentum they could build dies instantly due to it being so soon after XF.

wtf...I didn't see this coming, nor am I sure if I like this move or not
I mean she's a good presenter but she's better than this. And I just don't want there to be any chance she'll quit/be sacked from the main show of BB. I mean if that happens Rylan will be the replacement and that totally isn't beyond the realms of possibility...and just no :bored:
Confirmed btw

Also yeah I'm glad they've moved the show to January because it'll be free of BGT then which is best for not only this show but for viewers too.
Now she's the presenter I'd definitely suggest the last weekend of January, the auditions will all be prerecorded obviously so that won't matter. I expect the lives would start end of March.
Kate!

This is great news. First Kylie and now Emma as presenter. Can't wait to see who they sign up for the last coach.

I just totally can't imagine her presenting a show like this, it's weird
Wonder if they'll have a co-host or let her go it alone? Greg James would be a good bag if they get someone else
Kizzy

Fingers crossed for Charlotte Church.

I said Greg James would be a good fit just now on twitter.. if they are going with a R1 DJ trend it'd have to be him.. NOT GRIMMY NO THANK YOU.
And I really have NO idea who the 4th coach could be.. like they've had no male rumours whatsoever.. bar Will Young and I doubt he'd do the show after they snubbed him last minute in series 1 </3.
the voice is suddenly sounding all the more watchable...

Just read a tweet Emma is going to be hosting The Voice, I think Holly is leaving, but I read yesterday The Voice going to be on in January, so does the mean she is not doing BB next year:conf::bawling:
The Voice airs in January but it'll be taped in advance. I'd imagine there won't be a clash between it and CBB

Greg and Emma had good rapport when she was on his show and he's said publicly he'd like to follow in the footsteps of Dermot's career plus they've been building him on BBC3 so I think he'd be a good choice

Well... make even worse than it already is.
So true, not getting the love for Emma at all, she is a pretty average presenter at best and bases alot of her BB presentation style on trying to be a clone of Davina. I can't see how her inclusion would dramatically improve the Voice. Now if it were Dermot O'Leary that might be a different matter

The Voice is pre-recorded anyway.. forgot about that lolol.
Live shows won't start until way after CBB is finished and be finished way before BB15 begins.. she can easily do both.. unless BBC are like 'you can't do BB anymore it's tacky xxx' 'we are home to the likes of puppet shows with bad jokes, you must leave'

They have the Blind Auditions that are Pre Recorded, then theres the battles, also pre recorded I think. Live shows start early march, way after CBB.
Emma is a great presenter she deavers this.

Firstly Emma Willis is not a Queen ! in any sense or form - I would say the screeching Banshee more like !
I hope she is leaving along with Rylan and AJ - all the hype re Queen Emma is a joke - what exactly makes anyone think she is the queen of anything ?
BB IS ALIVE

I don't know if this has been posted yet, but just saw Ed Gleave tweet it, http://metro.co.uk/2013/09/14/emma-willis-confirmed-as-host-of-the-voice-as-reggie-and-holly-depart-3999344/
I hope it doesn't affect her Big Brother presenting, don't the two shows overlap? The Voice is a pretty big gig, probably better pay than Big Brother, she wouldn't leave would she?? Stressing out at the thought! :conf:
There's a thread and it won't because The voice is Pre-recorded So Emma will host both shows

Who do you want the fourth judge to be and the co host . Fourth judge not sure who I want . I want Greg James as the co host

It seems most people I've seen would love Greg James, most certainly my pick as well <3.
I just hope I like the 4th coach.. or is a big-name at least.

If its a duplicate threads why aren't they merged?
Yes the voice is pre recorded so seeing as it starts in January I assume auditions must be over the December period?
Really hope Emma doesn't leave BB though its gotta be tempting.
BB is her biggest show but the voice gets up to 9 million viewers sometimes so going back to a show that gets 2 million may seem like an anti climax.

Money.
Career.
List goes on.
Bet Channel 5 are keeping a close eye on her and have that contract renewal being drawn up as we speak seeing as shes getting a lot of offers for work on other major channels.
It may have been her dream job when it was given to her but are you seriously telling me that if ITV offered her the main presenting role on X Factor to quit BB she would stay at Channel 5?
No chance.

Oh sorry, from the way you worded it I thought you were saying that she wouldn't go back to BB because of a smaller audience, of course she would take other bigger jobs if offered, she would be foolish not too!

This is not good news . But the hosts on The Voice don't do much thankfully. Big Brother has a strange habit of being the best spring pad there is for people's media careers in the business.

Emma won't be able to plug it on the main show, but her increased popularity, will certainly help BB.
Increased twitter followers, would expect her current base to increase by a couple of hundred thousand probably.
More publicity/media coverage from tabloids. Perhaps she'll become the new "nations sweetheart" that the tabloids love to throw around.
More publicity on the bbc radio networks, which again in turn will help promote big brother should emma plug it etc.
All in all it's win, win. Could help the show gain a decent amount.

I feel this way too.
It seems there is no new talent as to presenters, I am sick of seeing the same people all over the place as presenters.
I am not that impressed with Emma as BB host anyway and think she will be out of her depth as the Voice host too.

That would be amazing! Well Dermott O'Leary accidently said Housemates instead of contestants on the X Factor so you never know.
Out of 9 million viewers some of them would try out big brother for the first time or revisiting it.

Might not last too long - The Voice has been god awful for the last two years and I can't see it running to a 4th if it doesn't improve dramatically next time round. Seriously. I mean it was pretty bad the first year... but we gave it a chance this year, thinking it couldn't get any worse.
...always happy to be proven wrong; it actually made me feel physically ill and we didn't even make it past the initial stages :joker:

I think it's incredibly selfish to be unhappy at the news of Emma's assignment as The Voice UK host at the risk she won't return to BB. Be happy for her. If she doesn't return to BB, sure it'll be sad, but she's a great presenter and deserves great things.
Marsh.

Very much doubt that she'd take it over BB anyway if given the choice. She constantly says BB is her dream job, to leave it after one summer after she replaced Brian would be daft. It's not as if The Voice is setting the world alight.
But good luck to her, I'm sure being on primetime BBC will do her career wonders.

Exactly. Plus, the shows don't clash. The Voice airs January until April, all shows in January and February are pre-recorded. She'll host CBB for three weeks, 2 shows a week. Maybe BOTS 3 times a week. She'll host Monday to Friday, for 3 weeks. The Voice will be live March and April and BB won't start until June. I don't know why people are worrying.
