It's a Country; England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales are all countries in their own right, as well as part of the United Kingdom/Great Britain.

England is the new country in the 'United Kingdom' and if you like, you could well ask yourself "When did England become part of Wales"?

It is a county on its own, otherwise it wouldnt be classed as a country. Its part of the United Kingdom, which is not a country. For someone who blabbers on constantly you dont know very much about it
Yes the UK is a country. England, Wales, Scotland and N. Ireland are constituent countries but not proper nations

Outside of the UK nobody recognises England, Scotland, N. Ireand and Wales as individual countries, they recognise the UK as the country.

The UK isn't a country though, it's a sovereign state made up of 4 countries..
.. And a foreigner has never asked me if I'm from the UK.. Always are you English/Scottish. (Apart from mauritians, who had never heard of Scotland or England.. Only Manchester Utd)

You've said that 3 times now all to different answers. Stick to your original point. Which was wrong.
