Hate clowns....stems back to being a child and being traumatised at a Christmas party. My fear has also rubbed off on my son unfortunately and his dad had to recently kick all clowns to the moon in order for him to go to sleep.

Aw... :)
I don't really like them either or find them funny.

Not of the normal looking clowns but the evil ones freak me out a bit.

That guy doesn't even resemble Pennywise.

What an idiot, i'm not scared of clowns but when I see him I think John Wayne Gacy. Someone will kick his head in.

The only clown I am scared of is Ronald McDonald.

I've never understood the fear of Clowns, but I must admit if I saw a stranger waving to me with a Clown outfit on at nighttime then I would run away fast.

..I don't think I'm scared of them but I find them creepy because of how they're depicted in horror books/movies I guess and the 'evil' people often wear clown masks as well...

Posing: Since his first appearance last week - on Friday 13 September - he has sparked a raft of speculation among locals who fear he may be up to no good. Others have even threatened to attack him

HAHAHAHA ffs.

Sad as in boo hoo or sad as in pathetic?

Sad in a pathetic, 'Pagliacci' kind of way. I remember reading about The Great Grimaldi, he suffered for years with depression. Once visiting a doctor and telling him how low he felt, the doctor advised him to "visit the circus, go and see the Great Grimaldi...."

Sad...

I was never amused by them as a child and never will be. I don't find them creepy just pathetically sad and bad comedy.

I'm used to clowns, we've had 11 of the buggers playing on the pitch every Saturday for God knows how many years.
