View Full Version : Are you a 'half full' or a 'half empty' person...
..I know in reality it's both but would you say you were an optimist or a pessimist...?...

I'm a glass half full person, optimism is what keeps me going. Which are you Ammi?
..I think it depends on the situation, I guess I can be both because I can worry about stuff I shouldn't..lol cop-out, but I'm rushing for work, so maybe I'll think more on it and post again later...I'm a 'thinker'...

I'm a born pessimist. If I won the lottery I would find a way to complain about it.:joker:

It really depends for me...I flit between the two. Sometimes I really optimistic but other times I fear the worst.

usually optimistic but I'm more of an 'expect the worst, hope for the best' type of person.

A pessimist is merely a well-informed optimist. I am a well-informed optimist.

I can be very pessimistic. I always try to be an optimist, not always successful.

I have never seen how a glass could be "half empty".
..it isn't realism though if you've overlooked that the glass is half full...I think that being realistic is seeing that the half empty glass is half full as well and no amount of staring at the empty bit is going to change that, so it seems like a pointless thing to do, when you would probably feel better looking at the full bit...

If it's empty, it's empty. It can't be half empty. It's like digging half a hole. It's just wrong.
I'm pretty optimistic that I'm a pessimist. That glass is half empty to me.

I'm probably more of a pessimist tbh. But I hope for the best but expect the worst normally.
