I bought Mine this morning
no need to rush.
It's a sorry state that he was stabbed.

You always get stories like this with big midnight launches. Never go to these things alone and make sure you've got your transport sorted.

There'll be more of these stories when the Xbox one and PS4 comes out sadly.

..wow, a game that cost £35...I can't imagine that happening over something else that cost that amount, that's quite staggering to hurt someone just to play a game...poor guy...

It's a misleading report everywhere I've seen the headline, as he also had a watch and an expensive smartphone stolen. Phones are a common target these days... Muggers know that more than half of the time a target will have some device of value on them: a phone, a tablet, a laptop etc.

I very much doubt someone targetted him for the game specifically.

That said, it's true that it might have been an opportunistic mugger who knew there would be easy young targets out late at night to buy the game...

There is also a hint of irony about the act itself. Mini side mission for GTA6? Some crime bosses son really wants a game that's sold out at the midnight release...
