I love Incredibles, I'd have put it first but it'd be kinda against the law with Toy Story 1 in all...

Didn't really like Monsters Inc, fell asleep during WALL E (not sure if that was the films fault or I was just tired), UP was good and cute but a bit basic and dull, and Cars is just an abomination

Shaun
05-10-2013, 08:27 PM
I preferred Monsters University to Monsters Inc, would've put that 6th, then Nemo, then TS2, then A Bug's Life. Inc, Brave, Ratatouille and the Cars messes can scrap out in the bottom five.

To the people who voted Up, why :conf: this is a genuine question I'm not being rude, I saw it for the first time the other week and it's actually one of the dullest things I've ever seen. I expected it to be 'soooo sad' but it was only like the flashback of Carl's life at the beginning which was sad

out of interest, how does everyone else decide when it comes to these?

I've been torn between choosing the best films and choosing the actor's/actress' best performances... for example, I don't think The Prestige is Michael's best performance, but it's my favourite film of all time so I put it top... and I feel a bit conflicted about doing that

..actually I think Harry Brown was his best performance of the ones I've seen anyway..I guess I don't do them the same every time, sometimes it's the movie I've liked best and sometimes it might be the acting but that's usually more when the performance has been a big part of making it a favourite for me, if that makes sense...with these ones, they are in order of the movies I've liked most and number 5 for sentimental reasons....

I choose what i think is the best film, but if people do it by the best performance of the actor in question, then that's fine.

Just watched Sinister.
First film in years that really scared the sh1t out of me.

Definitely give it a go.
I did watch it a night, in bed, with the lights off and my headphones on full blast.
I always watch horrors like this now in the hopes that the intensity will make them more frightening. But this is the first film that's worked for me in ages.
