Scotland and Ireland for me, becasue of my ancestry likely.

I love near all the places in those Countries but Fort William is one of my real faves, I know a few people there and have family who live there too and for me it is a great place to escape to.

Mullingar in Ireland is one of the many places in that Country I also love with a passion, recalling great times there and throughout all Ireland with my Grandmother who lived in Mullingar.

I used to holiday up in Northumberland with my family as a kid, at a place called Seahouses and go snorkelling in the sea. Not been for 4 or 5 years now but I have good memories of that place.

My last name is Campbell and there is supposed to be a pub near fort William and Glencoe that is famous for saying "No hawkers or Campbell's" :joker:

hhhmmmm, I guess the place outside of my own county I travel to most is Kerry, that's more so because it's quite near and has lovely beaches and countryside. I really should travel more around Britain and Ireland though. I need to see more of Scotland

My three favourite County's are North Yorkshire, Cumbria and Northumberland.

We go into the Dales and Moors most weeks, weather allowing. Pop over to the Lakes a good bit as my sister lives there.
Northumberland has loads to offer too, the coast around Bamburgh, Holy Island etc is beautiful.

Going further afield we love the West coast of Sctland, Edinburgh for shopping and at Christmas is amazing.

Yes Smudgie I forgot to mention Bamburgh, Holy Island, Farne Islands and Beadnell when I mentioned Seahouses. All are amazing quintessential places in the North East of England.

I spent a day in Birmingham last time I went to England and I felt like I was in a Brazilian slum with better architecture. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v232/korn0818/2095c354.gif

Anyway, my favourite places in the UK are Edinburgh and Abersoch. Unfortunately I haven't been to Ireland yet.

^^ Well, I went to a really nice bar that I can't remember the name of in some place called Bridleyplace and the centre is beautiful actually but what left me with a bad first impression was that one of my mates lived in some area called Smithy's wood I think? really really ugly
