It's funny how he didn't swear once just now in the diary room.He usually has fits but his mind was too busy trying to be funny that he forgot he had to keep that act up...

Also he was "drunk" but he managed to get out of bed and run and put the pot on him before pacing himself to jump in the pool.If he was so drunk he would have jumped straight in and not steadied himself before jumping.And if he was drunk he would have been a knock out on the bed.

NEXT SCENE - he is totally sober in the diary room..

Pete would be less likely to have ticks when feeling no stress which could have been due to drinking.

However I do think he adds a lot, not disputing he has tourettes he obviously has, just it is difficult to tell sometimes what are genuine ticks and what are just Pete messing about!
