Falling Skies is really really crap, I watched the first 2 seasons and the first couple of Season 3. It starts out alright and the first season is pretty interesting, but is just really badly written and the characters are terrible. Have only seen about 20 minutes of Revolution but it's critical reception and imdb rating speaks for itself..

Normally I would give Locke abuse for this but I actually agree with him now.

I stopped watching Falling Skies after the first episode of the most recent series because the storylines have gotten worse imo, things are dragged out for far too long so you get bored with it, the characters make the most stupid decisions ever and things are too predictable, meh it's just garbage..

Revolution I watched about half way through the first series and stop watching for basically the same reasons as Falling Skies.

Falling Skies is far from perfect and the recent series was crap, and I've never seen Revolution but it's critical reaction is far worse than Falling Skies so out of the two I would pick Falling Skies.

I agree with the consensus here, both of them are poorly done despite looking like they would be exciting.

There are much better shows to invest your time in, both of Smithy's suggestions are good :worship:

I already watch Game of Thrones [am watching one a week, on season 2 episode 4 atm]. What's American Horror Story about? I've heard Falling Skies season 1 isn't too bad and the Blu-ray was only a tenner so gonna give it a try! Revolution's settings look amazing but yeah the storyline doesn't seem too interesting :/

Season 1 of AHS is set in a Murder House which is full of ghosts,
Season 2 is set in a mental institution, with a hint of aliens and a murder
Season 3 starts in 2 weeks about Witches

none of them are related so you can watch them in any order

Revolution's premise is good, but the execution is awful it's so drawn out and the decisions the characters make are just stupid, it takes 10 episodes to do something that could take 4
