The other day one of my work colleagues bought in a cake they had baked. It was delicious. In my description of how delicious I used the word 'moist'. Little did I know the problems I had just caused myself. I was then subjected to a series of lectures - by mainly women - on why I should never use that word, how that word is disgusting, it should be banned etc. I was taken aback.

What are your thoughts? What do you think of the word 'moist' and when did it become a taboo word?

Perhaps girls just hate the feeling of sitting with their sloshy meat pocket and don't want to be reminded of the feeling..

Because it can imply moist vagina since the world is so sex mad at the moment with the ever increasing easy access to all sorts of porn. Women can think anybody using this is an innuendo or double entendre.

Also for women of today who enjoy power just as much as main the word moist which is associated with our vagina reminds us of that delicacy which we have which makes people still view us as the weaker sex and we hate to be reminded. Moist is an awful reminder.

What! It is a word associated with cakes though, you would hardly refer to a cake as being "wet". lol, how else would you describe a cake that is not dry..:conf:

Moist is used as a derogatory term nowadays, heard my sons friend referring to David Moyes as Moist, and it didn't sound like he was being complimentary.:joker:

So you are saying all women have moist vaginas but hide the fact and don't want reminded of it because it means we are the weaker sex etc?

I think you are over thinking things tbh, it's only a word.

Women that hate this word are mostly women that enjoy power. We can often lose control if we find ourselves attracted to someone and we get moist. Moist is a reminder of losing control. It's just ****ing annoying. :bawling:

Men should hate the word erect but they are weird. They are from mars.

As you saw in the video it's doesn't even have to be used to describe female readiness, but that is what it is a reminder of.

Wet or dripping are annoying too but not as annoying as moist. There is just something about moist.

I've never heard anything more ridiculous in my entire life.....
It does sound like a comedy sketch, 'moist' in the context of cake is the least offensive word, unless it was said with a tongue in cheek humour that some may find unsavoury ( unsavoury, cake...geddit?) :)

who put moist in the context of cake? was it before or after the word was put in context for vagina? english language needs to stop rehashing words for things so different from each other. People get traumatised from young age. :bawling:

It's pathetic, making sexual connotations about a word...
Words don't have two meanings it means exactly the same just depends what you use it in relation to?

These women need teaching a lesson. Next time you see them speak to them but use the following words;

Wet
Cream
Flower
Coin purse
Sausage
Hard
Erect
Sticky
Come
And climax

See what they say about those words

I do see what you're getting at and agree mostly. But I'm not in total agreement that all women - radical or otherwise - need to cheer them up is a penis. Because in so many cases that penis is attached to a bigger dick.

Yes you are quite correct Livia. On many men the biggest penis actually lies squarely on their forehead.

My last part was slightly tongue in cheek anyway, penis wouldn't do very much good for women that aren't even attracted to men.
