You probably come from a well-to-do family and were made to read a handful of "serious" books while you were growing up, but you got out of the habit of pursuing serious culture when you became an adult and were able to make your own life's decisions. You may still go to an occasional symphony-orchestra concert and read the occasional non-genre piece of literature, but you are basically a "normal" middle-class person with a modicum of culture. You are not an intellectual, but you are not an ignoramus either. Enjoy your life knowing that you are not an abject failure of humanity.
