I was in a small wood again, the other day that's just across the field from my mum and dads, eating freshly fallen hazel nuts,
I have done this since I was young and just being in the wood eating something that just grows by itself year in year out is very basic but very rewarding.
do you do something or go some where that's not the every day same old stuff?
Sounds amazing Sheriff, I often go for long walks in woods to get away from urbanisation of life and find it much more pleasant for the mind and soul.
I also grow raspberries and peas and other fruit and veg and enjoy nothing more than picking them fresh of the cane/plant and eating them nature fresh.

Don't you feel bad that you are depriving some poor animal who has no other source of food of their winter hoard :bawling:

I'm pretty sure squirrels eat and hoard any type of nuts they can find :suspect: and they are not the only animal who rely on nuts to survive :nono: I hope you can live with yourself :hmph:
