He also though is not eager for Nigel Farage to be in them and it was said on the news last week that it is 10 Downing Street that is not keen on thes debates this election.
Everyone else is.

I also think he should be taking part in some debating with Alex Salmond as to the Scottish independence issue too, David Cameron is the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, were the people of Scotland to vote to leve the Union, then he would come out of this very badly if he was not also at the forefront of the debate.

I am aware that Alistair Darling is heading the NO campaign but he is not even in the shadow cabinet.
Alex Salmond is in effect the first Minister of Scotland at this time and David Cameron is the undeniable first minister as PM of the United Kingdom.
He should be there fighting the Union's cause against Alex Salmond.

If David Cameron is however happy for the debates to take place for the 2015 general election, then why doesn't he say so now.
He pressed Gordon Brown hard enough to take part in them last time round, he is not the one to lay the conditions down for them,he just has to agree to take part.

Pure and simple, so why doesn't he now give the full go ahead for them.
Although UKIP will never be getting my vote, if they do really well in the Euro elections next year,( even likely topping the poll in them), also with David Cameron making a great play on the EU for the 2015 election then in my view Nigel Farage should have the opportunity to take part too.

He did say something I agreed with and that was they took too much time up as to the elction coverage and I also am not that mad about them as it takes us,in my view, down the more Presidential road of just electing a PM rather than electing a Government consisiting of over 300 individuals nationwide.

Well looking at it another way.
It is not beyond the realms of possibility that UKIP could pick up seats in 2015.

I am however now going into a real fantasy world with this next bit but suppose the Conservatives were just say 3 or 4 seats short of an overall majority and UKIP were to take say 5 to 10.
It would not be inconceivable for Nigel Farage to hold a high place in Govt if he and the Conservatives formed a coalition, even for a short time, until the referendum bill was through at least.

If UKIP, do in fact take the most votes across the UK in the Euro elections in 2014 and also hold the most seats too, they will have been chosen by the voters, whether we like it or not, to be the voice of the UK in and on Europe.
No way should they then be excluded from TV debates where Europe is to play an essential part of the campaign in that instance.
Especially when UKIP will also be contesting hundreds of parliamentary constituencies too.
That's my view anyway.

I can't see UKIP getting more than 10 seats, so they remain a minority party really... it'd be like having the greens on. I wouldn't mind, though, at least it gives more attention to the fringe parties. Even the silly ones like UKIP and BNP

I don't like these 'presidential' like popularity contests, it all comes down to showmanship and stage presence that you become the Prime Minister?... That can't be right....
Dynamic dave and his bumbling sidekick bozo boris perform their comedy double act and he gets reelected?....Nah!

Well come to think of it, Nick Clegg has near zero chance of being PM as well so maybe he should be excluded too.
Even moreso since he told a virtual pack of lies in the last debates as to what he stood for and would support.

The Scottish referendum too is about Scotland possibly leaving the whole of the rest of the UK, David Cameron is the Prime Minister of the whole UK.
He is failing in his duty, and frankly virtually saying to the Scots he isn't bothered what they vote for.
Shocking display of leadership.

I think the real reason though that he will not debate with Alex Salmond is because he knows full well, Alex Salmond is a pretty good first Minister for Scotland and that Alex Salmond could likely tie him up in knots all the time.

A UKIP Coalition would really shake things up! It could happen now with UKIP more popular than the lib dems in the poles.
