Th smiths hold an extra special place for me because they moved me away from dance and trance that I pretty much only used to listen to and opened me up to so many other great bands like the chameleons, the cure, joy division, magazine, the teardrop explodes, echo & and the bunny men, sad lovers and giants, psychedelic furs etc.

I can relate to that stuff much more than this "yo dog put some sugar in my pants tonight" stuff they churn out nowadays. :joker:

..he's just taking a bit of a sabbatical..either that or he's on tour somewhere and hasn't said because he doesn't want any of us turning up and embarrassing him...
