Did anybody get hold of tickets today? If so, you lucky buggers, I tried and tried and didn't get one. /sob

After 1 hour and 27 minutes, tickets for Glastonbury 2014 have now sold out (in record time). Our sincere thanks to everyone who managed to buy a ticket today, or a coach + ticket package on Thursday.

We have, once again, been blown away by the numbers of people who were hoping to join us at the Festival, and we're sorry that many of you have missed out on a ticket. We genuinely try to make the ticket system as fair as it can be, but when demand outstrips supply, it is an unfortunate inevitability that some people will be left disappointed.

If you did get a ticket, then we look forward to seeing you down here at Worthy Farm next June. If not, then there will be a resale of any returned tickets in the spring, and your registration remains valid to purchase tickets for future Glastonbury Festivals.

Thank you all again for your incredible support for Glastonbury Festival. We really don’t take it for granted and we are exceedingly fortunate to have that loyalty.

Michael & Emily Eavis

Few of my friends did, always been sorta tempted to go but not enough to pay the £200 or whatever it is that it costs

Matt, you really should go, it is worth it.

I'd rather spread £200 over a bunch of concerts with artists I like as you'd usually only have a few acts at Glastonbury that you really love.

Ah, but the atmosphere, the camping etc all add to the amazingness that is Glasto. It's such a good vibe.

Was not going to go anyway but I am shocked about them getting sold out this quick

My brother got his today.

I'm not going next year, but do intend to go again one year, hopefully they wont be anyone worth seeing, and let's face it, it couldn't beat this year, (The Stones) say no more.

If you've never been, then I highly recommend you do it.

They need a bigger Farm

Nah, I'm disappointed I didn't get a ticket but having more people there with a bigger farm would ruin it.

I'm sure one day if I ever make it rich.. but whilst I'm a struggling student I get just as much of a kick from going to the Academy to see an act:love:

I would only get tickets if I knew who the headliners were FIRST.

There will always be acts there that interest anyone plus there will be acts that you end up seeing who surprise you.

Fleetwood Mac are rumored to be headlining.

Going for the second year running. Can't wait!
And when JT & Rihanna charge £100 a ticket for an hour and a half, £200 for five days (which were the best of my life so far last year) is more than worth it. I would pay that if every band on we're completely unknowns. Like mentioned it's all about the atmosphere, people and nightlife.

Yeah I used to always stay up watching it.
Haven't even been this year and i'm already worried about not being able to get tickets for 2015.
I literally could not imagine a summer without going now.

Yeah, Dolly Parton also confirmed

I've heard a couple of rumours saying Prince could be headlining.

hmm, would rule out Fleetwood if so... Blondie/Prince/Fleetwood would certainly alienate the young masses  as awesome as it would be...

Arcade Fire I think are gonna be one of the headline acts.

Not a fan of Arcade Fire, so i'll be at another stage that night.
Would have loved Fleetwood as the final headliners, but looks like it's either going to be Prince or Kasabian.
Out of the two, i'd rather Kasabian in all honesty. :idc:

kasabian aren't really big enough to headline glastonbury... i mean we might as well let snow patrol or keane do it in that case :yuk:

Don't really do Festivals. Probably wouldn't mind Wireless, but that's it really.

Kasabian are the main headliners sadly, I heard that Prince was meant to do it but he dropped out.

Shaun

still a lot of rumours about Prince doing it so I imagine he's the third. I like the lineup in general, a good number of acts I love there.

Prince is sticking to his intimate guns and doing the Shaun Ryder Soup Tent.

Good lineup. The undercard is great, anyway. Not too fussed about the main eventers. Kasabian aren't Glastonbury headliners. That is not an opinion. Maybe when West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum dropped in 2009ish but they've been a let down since. They're place is to be in the 5th-10th favorite band category of the type of people who only ever listen to The Greatest InOne Album In The World, Ever! and guys who play exclusively in bootcut jeans.

Only gonna see Kasabian.
