View Full Version : Ask or asked?
Do you prefer to ask someone out or be asked out? Are you the kind of person who wants to make a romantic gesture or do you want to be the person who is the recipient of one?

i always refuse to believe anyone will ask me so i always put myself in the position that i'm the one who has to ask
Be a lot easier to be asked but unfortunately it is always expected of the male

I'm a hideous troll.
I don't want to be arsed with all that crap. Most people are selfish bastards, it's the way of the world today. Best off not bothering.

I think I'd kinda be embarrassed to be asked out by a girl (that's not sexist is it?) but I'd be absolutely petrified asking someone out
I've never had to do it really you just mutual agree to do something if you know each other

Asked!!! The fear of rejection is too much
I have never asked anyone.
And I didn't really like it most of the time when asked out, I remember this one time when I was in 4th year at high school we were in assembly this guy walked in to the hall with a big massive teddy and walked right over and gave it to me infront of everyone and asked me out, I wanted to die and told him no.
bet you still kept the Teddy though didn't you

I have never asked out a guy, nor been asked. Rather, things tend to just happen

I was just naturally flirty, if I fancied anyone for a bit of fun then I would give them the eye. Normally worked .
..I think when I was younger, it had started to change that it was the male who was usually the one to 'ask' and I know lots of females who would ask a guy to go out..(is that the expression lol..), which is how it should be, either one to if they feel an attraction...mind you it was still a bit 'the norm' for the male to ask the female and I always thought that if I had been male I would have probably been single my whole life because that must be such a scary thing to do and I couldn't have done it myself.. I know I am so lucky that I met my life love at such a young age because I found 'being asked' just as scary and embarrassing..also the thought of what would come after the being asked if I said yes... of having to make conversation and talk to someone, especially of the opposite sex who I had no idea what to talk about with....
..I actually cried one time when someone at school asked me out..how humiliating for him.....
..EDIT:..oh I should have said that was when I was at primary school and very young..later I just avoided boys completely if I could...

I have been unsuccessful too many times, if a lady wants some of this she will need to put in the elbow grease
