...10 years ago, I was in the middle of the last year of junior school - not knowing what the world was going to give me.

Where were you, at this point in your life and however long ago?

Ooh bad timez, I was 31 newly single and terrified.
I decided to hide away from all my friends, get very fat and drink myself stupid every night so nobody would ever look at me again.
It took 4yrs for me to snap out of the destructive spiral.

10 years ago? I had just started year 8.

Life's hit a bit of a slow patch at the moment and I've felt quite depressed, so those carefree days are seeming quite attractive to return to now. But I'm sure it'll pick up soon.

I think the winter blues have hit me earlier.

don't look back in anger, only forward with a smile.
don't be a passenger on some else's journey, get out and start your own journey.

I was 19 and had decided to go back to college and study A Levels after working and travelling for a bit. I had three jobs to fund me through and I really do not miss that time in my life at all, lol.

10 years ago. My son was only 6, we'd moved back home as my landlord (private rent) had decided to sell up and were on the waiting list for social housing. I didn't know what was about to hit me because in November of this year I lost my grandmother (nan) and on Christmas Eve my dad died.

Hard to believe ten years have gone by.

10 years ago my life was better than what it is now to be honest. I was 36 working as a school cleaner @ a private all girls school. I worked with one of my mates who I don't even see now, another girl who is a facebook friend and a gay guy who I had so many laughs with. I lived in a different house in a better area. I had prpbably 3 or 4 dogs (ive now got 7 lol) and I actually had quite a good social life.

since then I left the school due keep being taken over by various cleaning firms, I got diagnosed with chrones disease in 2009 which im sure the stress of working for a very nasty company @ the school caused it, I don't care what anyone says. since then ive lost my mam and gran. Ive had a few jobs and we moved to a bigger better house but I don't like the area much. Ive also now got 2 great nephews and a great niece and now have 7 dogs soon to be 8 if my planned mating with one of them goes ok. oh and my partner now has 5 greyhounds that race so hes into that, im not.

..just over 10 years ago I was probably going through one of my worst times and quite life changing so in some ways not a great time but in others quite enlightening....I think 'bad times' are what you take from them...

I was in year 3 and had a teacher named Cynthia that would always share her chips with us and used to always play and dance to Blu Cantrell - Breathe  she had to leave midway through the year though because she was hospitalised for something stress related (she always used to blame us but I think she said it in a joking way icr) and i dunno if she's even alive tbh http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v232/korn0818/09954248.gif

Also it was a bit hectic with my family around this time, my aunt was getting married abroad and wanted my older brother to come to the wedding but my mum didn't let him because he was only 16 which led to a bit of a big fall out and my other brother had seizures and impaled his cheek :joker:

Had just left school pretty much, and was working in a terrible calls centre. The pay was amazing for my age though. So I stayed there until I got fired for calling friends/family and getting them to pretend to be customers..as I couldn't meet the unrealistic targets we were set :D

5 years ago I had just graduated from uni, had been made redundant (the business I managed went into liquidation), moved to Exeter and I was saving up to go travelling to Australia/Asia.

10 years ago I was starting secondary school and was a very lonely, fragile wee soul, I ate lunch by myself and used to cry most days and would come home crying to my mum about how I would never make any friends!!

I've been single for 2 years now and I don't ever go out to meet anyone new, I'm okay with it, I've spent the last two years going places, doing things, meeting people and all of that amounts to interesting stories, at least I'm doing stuff with my life and not just sitting around waiting for something to happen... that's the main thing! :)

I've been invited to a party but I don't think there'll be anyone there that I'd be interested in, it's mostly just friends from my class at university... but you never know, things might get a little ~freaky~

I dunno yet, last year I went to two parties, one I went as Dracula and the other I went as Professor Plum from Cluedo (there were 5 other people dressed up as the other Cluedo characters, it was good fun) but neither of those were very sexy
