Should Graham Jagger remove the sign from outside his home in Dewsbury, West Yorks?

The legend reads:
“Polite Notice: There is nothing of value left on our premises… It’s already been taken… By Thieving *****ing Bastards.”

Police say they will arrest Mr Jagger unless he removes the sign. He’s been burgled 10 times in the past four years.

Says Mr Jagger: “They were out in less than 10 minutes to [warn] me, but when I phone and a proper crime has been committed, it’s days. I think it’s disgusting, I really do. I said I would make it more appropriate by removing some letters, but it’s staying where it is.”

Says police: “The householder was given sufficient time to remove the offensive language and warned that if it was not removed they would be liable for a fixed penalty notice. No further complaint has been received.”

If I'd been burgled 10 times in 4 years, I'd be getting me a shotgun!!

So basically writing a swear word in a public place is a crime? LOL oh dear, if people are offended by that they need to get a grip
