come to think of it i'm not sure why i clicked great white shark dive.. i love sharks but i'd have to be in a crazy mood at the time to do it.
Wouldn't mind doing the shark diving (presumably in a cage :suspect:) and could be tempted to do a bungee jump, have very little interest in doing any of the rest though, if nothing else it's a lot of hassle

everything apart from shark caging, abseiling, rock climbing
all that kind of rock and mountain stuff just doesn't appeal to me, I'm not scared of it, just meh

zorbing is getting in the big bouncy ball and rolling down a hill right?
I didn't do it in snow though.

oh potholing looks horrible too

basejumping would probably be the most exciting out of that, as long as it's illegal to get the extra thrill

bungee jump would be my first choice, I'd like to do quite a few of them though, just none that involved water.

I could never do bungee jumping or skydiving.
They are obviously safe and the chances of me dying are slim.. but no, you couldn't pay me.
I could probably do most of the others.

it depends where you do it, when i hear about people bungee jumping in africa or south america, then yea, that's dangerous. I think the country you do these things in has a lot to do with the danger involved.
bungee jumping in america or australia is very different than bungee jumping in africa or asia.

oh, black water rafting could be fun.
Generally not a fan of rock-climbing, clifftops or things that require holding onto things that might give way, really.
Potholing looks horrible and claustrophobic and boring.

I want to try this soon. It's on my next ten things to do when travelling along with the great white shark dive (as I never got to do it in NZ). I have a friend who does it and I would love them to teach me how to do it.

did you see the story about the dude from the london olympics opening ceremony died recently while doing a skydive in a wingsuit?
I can't remmeber if it was the guy playing the queen or the guy playing james bond. but one of them definitely died recently.
he was wearing one of those wingsuits and flew right into a mountain. i'm not making it up.
Drew.

yea it was really sad. he even had someone jumping with him, and he was also confused, because he saw him specifically turn in the wrong direction. i dunno, i've never done it before, but i guess just one wrong move, maybe if you get disoriented, can totally throw you off.
I dunno, the guy that was with him still seems confused about what exactly happened.
I guess at those speeds everything happens so quickly.

Yeah, and the wind plays a huge factor too. It's a shame really, he was great and a big loss to that community.

****, someone so active and successful and really taking risks, it makes me feel like **** just sitting around like the lazy lump i am. Atleast he lived a full and exciting life while he had it, though it was short, good for him i say. he prolly got more out of life in his short years than i will in my lazy lump years.
they always say the greatest honor a man can have is dying doing what he loves.

You're going to hate me for saying this but for a young fella, that sounds a bit joyless.. Where's your sense of adventure? :)

"a man" is more loosely defined these days. we don't have the strict gender roles and definitions any more.
that's a good thing i think.
That being said there are some seriously ballsy women these days too that do pick up the slack.
