My daughter came downstairs earlier looking terrified.. Turns out she'd managed to pull one of her back molar teeth out.. I'm forever telling her that if she eats too many sweets all her teeth will fall out so she was in a complete panic...
Do kids lose their molars?? I know they lose all their baby teeth, but for some reason I thought their back teeth stayed put? I don't actually remember my back teeth falling out.
Has anybody had experience of this?

Surely all the teeth fall out/regrow cus the ones she currently has would be far too small for when she's an adult?

you lose all your teeth, including your back ones I think.
Yeah.. That's what I was thinking Nathan, but I honestly don't remember my molars falling out. However, it dies look like a baby tooth.
She's nearly 10 and I just thought all her wobbly tooth days were over
i had to have 2 molars taking out when i was about 8 or 9, the most stressful day of my life

not sure if this helps but it says the average age they stop losing teeth is 11-12 and the molars do come out

The most stressful day of my life was having my wisdom teeth extracted! :bored:
Why did you have them taken out? Have you got new ones now?

"The "average" age is 11-12 years, at this age he should loose his primary upper canine and primary lower 2nd molar. Every child is different though."
It's her 2nd one back from her lower canine.. So I suppose that could be her primary lower 2nd molar?
That makes me feel better actually... She's only 9 but she's advanced for her age.

Extra £5 from the tooth fairy for the horrified look on your face... :idc:
There's no way she believes in the tooth fairy.. But she still said "oh well I'd better put it under my pillow for the tooth fairy" -innocent glance to me- "!i really hope she doesn't forget" -warning look towards me- lol.. Crafty wee bugger

It doesn't need checking...as long as the tooth looks whole it will be fine..

Sooner or later social services will catch up with you, and this "pulled her own teeth out" nonsense will no longer wash.
You eventually lose all of your teeth if you worship the devil. I think she's a devil worshiper Lee
