I played about half of Kingdom Hearts 1 on PS2 and haven't played any of it since :worry:...

I've played two hours of it, combat feels a bit weird and bloated but I'm liking it so far. They've said there's not too many worlds but the first world is HUGE so I'm guessing they've opted for a small number of big worlds over lots of little ones.

I'm ten hours into it. the battle system is the best of the series despite being a bit overwhelming at first since almost every gameplay mechanic from the spinoffs have returned but I love how you can use multiple keyblades now (you can switch between three in battle) and how there doesn't seem to be any bad keyblades now as they are all upgradeable and they all have unique strengths.

I've done three Disney worlds so far and aside from the Toy Story world, I've enjoyed all three. Toy Story's world is probably one of my least favourite places in all the Kingdom Hearts game since the area is small but the directions you get given are unclear and it really drags, plus most battles revolve around a gameplay mechanic exclusive to that world which just isn't that fun. I spent three hours in that world and most of it was just wondering where to go next and the rest was fighting overlong battles.

Tangled's world is a home run though.

I do feel like there's something missing with this game though, I do miss the old worlds a lot and there's no Hollow Bastion/Radiant Garden either so there's no FF characters. That being said, I still really like it.
