[A Muslim free school
is set to be put into special measures
after a damning report called
it "dysfunctional" and "inadequate".
Watchdog Ofsted condemned the
running of the Al-Madinah
school in Derby, which has already
been threatened with closure by the Government.
The school has faced claims it discriminated
against women, made staff cover their hair
even if they are not Muslim and split
up boys and girls in the classroom.]

Girls go up the back of class
can look at boys?

Boys can not look at Girls

All faith schools should be banned. Education is education, and shouldn't need to be slanted and corrupted by religion.

Faith schools have always been around Arista. This is still a Christian country in real terms, however secular the population may be.

But I completely agree that Blair made the problem worse.

I didn't know free schools don't have to follow the national curriculum or hire qualified staff... Not really a 'school' then is it?
How do they achieve the required educational attainment then for post 16 studies?
