Ooooh this is a good idea, it could be two plus votes and if the contestants don't reach a certain threshold of points after a set period of time then they are eliminated

I think it's probably 'cause it's inclusive and, despite there always being squabbles :laugh: it is all about positivity and I think it's nice seeing what everyone has to say about the people they like on the forum, it's nice seeing your comments be used and it's nice seeing what people have to say about you... and I think it encourages people to get to know each other a little bit better. I dunno, I think it's because it's a bit of an 'event'.

Then the the next person posts, adding or deducting a point from the member they like/dislike, like so,

As it's an opt in thing I think they should be allowed to do it. Just have a rule in place that if any hassle kicks off, everyone involved in the game receives an infraction - no exceptions. Then everyone has a responsibility to everyone else.

Have to laugh at people rushing to condemn apple. He hasn't made this up out of nowhere, this is on the back of the pop bitch thread.

It's also pretty hypocritical of some people to make out that this is going to be bad, when you look at their actions in the last couple of forum games like the razzies or ML. It's like people have no self awareness.

I've got no interest in playing, but if everyone knows the score, then I think they should be allowed to do it.

I was pretty clear in the thread I set up about the rules as well, all the contestants had volunteered, and the thread wouldn't be allowed to descend into insults. Hell, even ditching the Hurt side was suggested, yet I have no good reason why I'm not allowed to run it.
