Joele Leotta, 19, was attacked by a
group of men after they burst into
the flat he shared
with his friend Alex Galbiati.
Both men had only arrived in Britain ten days ago
and had found work in an
Italian restaurant in Maidstone, Kent,
where the killing took place last weekend.
According to reports in the Italian media
the attackers are said to have hurled racist
insults at both men and accused

When I read what the attackers allegedly said, my first thought was that one of them had maybe applied for the same job as the boys, had lost out and was bitter because the restaurant was Italian run and they employed two Italian boys - presumably they'd have been told that if they got the job they'd be able to live above the restaurant and that would be how they knew where they lived...?!
