Not a disrespectful or mean thread, just celeb deaths you genuinely had forgotten about and thought they were still alive.
Since I was surprised that Paul Potts is having a movie based on him AND it's receiving oscar buzz, I looked through his stuff, saw pavorroti and then a video titled "Pavarotti's last performance" I thought, Ugh, is he dead?. I googled and then I remembered, oh yeah he did die. He's just one of those that even though they did die, it will always feel like he's there....Maybe it's because I only ever heard him sing that one song Nessum Doorma. :D
RIP.
...hmmm, I don't know..I'm sure there are some child stars, maybe that I haven't known about..?...

This, still doesn't seem real
I've never forgotten but whenever a TLC song comes on my playlist or I watch an old TLC video I get really upset that Left Eye died at such a young age. I believe from the bottom of my heart that TLC would have continued to be highly successful throughout the 2000s and would be cemented as legends today. It makes me sad that Chilli and T-Boz pretty much saw their careers end the day Lisa died. They're the 2nd best selling female group of all time, behind only the Spice Girls, and I think they would have reclaimed 1st place if Lisa was still with us considering how flash in the pan the Spice Girls were. Rest in peace Lisa, your talent is missed greatly...
Bit of a ramble I know but it really upsets me whenever I'm reminded that she died. :(

Is Kirk Douglas dead?
Brittany Murphy's death and her husband's death just a few months later make me really terribly sad too... they say he died of a broken heart, which seems even sadder somehow... she may not have been an A-list actress but she was a damn good one and it's really sad that she is no longer with us, was just reminded of her death by people mentioning her in this thread :/
