If winds pick up Monday
avoid big trees
you are in the Red Zone
Josy is Not
Jet Streams go Turbo
They are showing charts of a Bigger wind storm

I've just seen Michael Fish doing the weather on TV. He said everything is going to be fine. Don't worry about it.

Probably a very small portion of the south coast will be the only ones to witness an actual hurricane. Everywhere else will just be a bit windy.

..it's strange because earlier, there was no breeze at all, it was eerily calm and then the strong winds started really suddenly ...I think something similar happened in 1987 when we had the hurricane, there was a calm before the storm...

yeah it's weird isn't it. when all the big storms happened in america, it was pretty much silent before anything happened.

At least two people dead, loads of homes with no power, a lot more trains and flights cancelled than they thought, flash floods in some places and loads of trees have been uprooted, don't think it's that much of an overreaction

Thankfully we have missed it so far, been a bit windy for a couple of days.
I think it is meant to give us a wave on its way out to sea later on.
My poor daughter lives down south and she has had al her power cut off, to make matters worse, her partners grandma is due to arrive for a short break with them anytime now.
No heating, hot water or cooking facilities....poor grandma:hugesmile:
