So, my daughter is having a sleepover for Halloween and she's watching World war Z with her friends but my son who's 9 is too young to watch it I think, so i told him we'd watch a different scary film ourselves. Can anyone give my ideas for a scaryish but not really scary film suitable for a 9 year old?

I watched The Hole in the cinema, and I think it could be a bit too scary for a 9 year old.
You might be better looking at it yourself first, just to make sure.

Tremors would probably be a 12 now. It's quite comic but a bit scary.
Jaws is another one - don't know if that is okay for a nine year-old. Actually it has a couple of gruesome scenes now I think of it.

great horror movie though.
