South Yorkshire is where it's at.
The only thing that let's South Yorkshire down is Barnsley but if you don't look at them they won't approach you.

In case anyone was wondering pound yer bananas was a reference to the cockney market stall fruit seller stereotype not a threat to hit somebody in their nether regions :joker:

3 FACTS about Yorkshire
1) Yorkshire practically won all the medals in the London Olympics FACT
2) When God created Earth he originally called It Yorkshire and it was marvellous. When Adam and Eve got up to their funny business with the snake he was so grief stricken he took the name and called it Earth. In honour of his old creation he took his favourite province in the world and called it Yorkshire. FACT
3) if the Titanic was built in Yorkshire it would never have sank. FACT. That's mainly cos it would be feckin landlocked somewhere in Donny but that's not the point.
Those are all cold hard irrefutable facts.
Respect to Yorkshire

Yorkshire is to cool and contemporary for you anyway salman.....You have to be gifted to be born here.
The Tour de France begins in Leeds next year too so :hmph:
Some places of interest in Yorkshire
Barnsley - great town but you need to learn to speak Barnsley before you go there.
Bradford - basically a city centre of boarded up shops.if you like to go shopping for boarded shops you will love it.
Doncaster - they like to think its a city but it's not. Full of Leeds fans
Harrogate - I had to stop it being a South Y love fest so included here. Nice market town during the day, vampire headquarters during the night.n
Leeds - The angry capital of South Yorkshire. Everybody is angry here.
Rotherham - if you haven't got a kid by age 17 here your doing well. Great people, down to earth though. Not stuck up like in Sheffield.
Sheffield - Has Manchester syndrome, except it's not as good as Manchester. People here say dee and dar and it's irritating.

*ahem* ....back to Yorkshire, hubby and I had a lovely run out through Wensleydale today. My most favourite place on earth.
Went through Richmond on to Leyburn, then right around all the villages, proper James Herriot country, Askrgg...Carperby...Hawes etc, absolutely divine.
Now to win that lottery and move out there:hugesmile:
