only ever saw 2 horror movies and I was about 13 at the time and both scared the sh*t out of me. 1 was the exorcist @ the time we lived in a mid terrace house but both houses were empty @ either side as both were up for sale. So I watched the exorcist with my older friends went home to bed and heard flippin lots of movement I was sure the devil was in my attic and was coming to take over my body! god ive never ever in my life been a scared as I was that night until I found out some new people had moved in!!! So that film would still scare the sh*t out of me to this day! The other horror film I watched was Carrie but I done remember much about that one as I was still traumatised from the exorcist.

I didn't even see the Exorcist until I was in my twenties, because my mother wouldn't let me see it. Bear in mind this is a mother that absolutely loved horrors and I grew up watching them with her, everything from Nightmare on Elm St to Halloween. The Exorcist was just completely forbidden for some reason, I guess because it was harder to get in those days as it was banned.
I've seen it many times since and its great. If you look passed the obvious dated effects, the bones of the story is timeless and its a classic.
When they re-released it I went to the Cinema to see it and the whole place just laughed all the way through it. I hate when people do that. Idiots.

Well I definitely wouldn't be laughing at it. The only thing I remember about Carrie is her being on a stage nd somehow there was some pigs blood or something which she managed to make land on the other kids I think they had bullied her or something. Like I say I was too traumatised by the exorcist to watch it properly. I don't watch horrors to this day although I did go to see twilight lol
