E4 gets first channel refresh in 6 years

It's the first revamp since 2007 and will feature Eefer, a robotic embodiment of the channel's familiar logo. Eefer will be the focus of the new branding.

Makes it look ever older and out of date, were better off changing it altogether or leaving it as it was

Don't like it. The strips of tape and stuff were fine as they were. Not worth the trouble to change it. The robot makes it seem more juvenile than it already was.

I was going to make this thread :mad: I am truly fascinated with graphic design (My sister is a graphic designer :amazed:) and I love seeing new logos, looks, idents etc and I practice whenever I can.

I do not like the path that E4 is taking and the robot and end boards just look tacky, and it's just a giant step back. The idents are looking like they had no thought put into them and they don't really incorporate the logo into them, and they are too familiar with the 2005 idents (the ones with the band) and 4creative need to try so much harder.

The purple is a part of e4 and it probably always will be. It's like: E4 hasn't changed its logo because it is iconic, and something you'll always remember e4 by, just like its purple colour scheme.

The e stings are staying, they always will do. Also they can't take them away now, especially because they still need to roll out the 2013 ones and announce the winner.
