I love the John Lewis ad... the Marks and Sparks ad though, looks like the marketing team were given a HUGE budget and just sat around looking at each other until an hour before the deadline, panicked and threw together this year's offering.

..wow, I just read that it cost 7 million pounds to make...I do love it and it gives a real warm Christmas feeling...but with high street stores always talking about declining profits, I'm surprised they still spend so much on advertising in what's just a few weeks or so of the year...I know that's their busiest time and probably a huge part of their figures but John Lewis is extremely expensive so isn't really accessible to everyone.... which is the one thing I don't like about the ad, it's a bit contradictory in that it's about the spirit of Christmas, and showing that to be all about expensive gifts for the person you love....hmm, probably over-thinking again, but yeah....

M&S obviously Fairytale themed..hubby and I try and see something different each time it is on.
Alice in wonderland, Wizard of Oz are the two most obvious.

Morrisons makes me want an extension on my dining room..imagine a table set like that.
