What gets people going clearly varies from person to person, so on an ideal day (or night) out, what would you be doing?

I like going shopping, going to concerts, having a nice meal out with friends or family, going to watch a football match and going to the cinema

A lovely run out with hubby over the Moors or Dales. Mooching around the villages.

Afternoon delight:hugesmile:

Socialising with special friends and family.

Having a good spot of retail therapy.

Simple things in life really.

I enjoy walks, not really on nature trails though. I do love amusement parks once in a while. My fave passtime of the ones you listed is going to the cinema  and I also occasionally go to restaurants.

Other stuff I love, reading, writing and listening to music.

Sitting on my leather couch with a leather bound book and a pipe, casual jazz music playing in the background and the crackling of a fire to the left of me

Maybe GypsyGoth playing the flute in the other room

Not too big on clubbing and the like but it's always a great night when done once in a while. Not to overkill and I have no idea how people can do that every single weekend.

Would love to get into extreme sports but it'd obviously be difficult to organise and all that. Going skydiving at some point would be grand but the furthest I've jumped isn't very far so out the sky might not be the best place to start.

My main pastime is whippet racing. Im obsessed with it so far as to being the secretary of my local whippet racing club. Its crap in winter as because we race on fields we sometimes have to cancel like today as the ground was too hard! Whippet racing is not the same as greyhound racing. Theres no betting and no big prize money its done for fun and a few quid maybe a trophy. The dogs still run out of traps but they run in a straight line about 150 yards, no more than 5 in any one race. I love it in summer as we travel round the country racing them. Weve been to Devon for the English derby and weve been to kirkaldy in Scotland for the Scottish derby, go there every year for 10 days love it. There the big payout ones £400 for the main winner. loads of diff classes etc. Then you have the championships again weekends away. I cound go on and on and on but I wont bore you all lol .

My favourite thing in the whole world is going to Take That concerts so that. But also I'm easily pleased, I find just reading or writing(when not stressful) fun or cooking or baking. Just sitting and talking with a friend over a coffee is nice and I'd much rather do that than some extreme sport.

Playing football.

Chilling out at a friend's house or my own with some friends. Food,Drinks(for them) and a Playstation. Can't beat the vibe. I'm so bored of the club atmosphere and I'm only 20 :\

Ideally, yes. It's obviously a great way of raising funds but the skydiving thing is probably a while off yet.

Anything that doesn't involve crowds of drunken people.

^ That.

It's getting tough to do considering most of my friends are in my 20's and I can't expect them to give up constant drinking with me. I often wonder what kind of social lives we would all lead together if it wasn't for it. We'd probably go to Europe a few times a year and do way more things than we do now.

I'm slowly becoming more insular. It's like I'm 16 again. I don't mind it, though.
