..did your children find stuff that you and Gav had hidden...

..I would put it all up in the loft but in different parts of it, just in case they ever went up there with their dad and once I found some stuff in around April/May next year that I'd hidden and forgot about...

My parents were never subtle enough and i'd see the presents under a bed or something before they were even wrapped :idc:

Don't think I ever believed really, and my parents made a big deal of hiding them all on christmas day around the house for us to find so we pretty much knew he wasn't real from an early age

Yes, from a very early age I new Santa did not exist and every year I hunted high I low for my presents, when I was about 8 or 9 I discovered I could climb up Int to the loft and I searched there. Eventually my parents figured it out and hid them at their friends houses but then I just conned their kids into helping me find them.

Still today I am tempted to go and find my presents, it's ridiculous lol and the thing is I d like surprises but when I know it's coming I'm just so impatient.

I do like light searches but I regret it when I find them, I want them to be well hidden

I didn't, but I got left alone in the car with my cousin once though. We were waiting for his Mum while she was in a supermarket I think and he flipped down the back seats in the car, and low and behold, the contents of his Christmas list were sitting in the boot in plastic bags.

...aww, I bet his mum was really upset about that, Niall...

I was rooting about in my mums room once looking for presents, I hadn't heard her creep up the stairs and the first I knew was when her slipper hit me in the head  I never looked again...

I never believed in Santa. Me and my sister pretty much always found our presents early.

Did it one time when I was a kid and was really pleased with myself when I found them, but then my Mum was pissed off about it, I felt a bit guilty afterwards and didn't try it again. That was when I was really little though and still believed in Santa but I would get a couple of things from him and a couple of things from my parents so it didn't have much effect on that, but I never saw the point of doing it even after I found out he wasn't real

No, my cousin always did but I was too much of a goodie-two-shoes to even attempt it, probably scared of what my mums reaction would be

..the most annoying thing for me as a parent, was when the gifts were around the tree, if they picked them up and guessed what they were, that would drive me crazy because they were always right and there were no surprises...

I was amazing at snooping around for my presents, even all wrapped up I could normally feel around them and say what it was

My parents used to get pissed off at me for it though.
