Check out that 90's routine.
A one off Billie Piper performance would be brilliant. It is really rare for popstars to transition into acting successfully, most that try it are seen as a laughing stock and aren't taken seriously. She was a great popstar but she quit at the right time, definitely, she's a better actress than popstar from what I know.

100% agree with you.
I think she peaked with Day & Night so it was a good time for her to call it quits after that album.
Also, I can't imagine her being very successful today as a popstar.
Maybe one day in the future, a chat show host'll pass her a mic and we might get a chorus from her or something.

Yeah, she had a perfectly good run and she was very of her time, she could never go back to being a popstar - but she could very easily do a TV performance of a few of her songs in some kind of medley for charity and it would go down really well.

The thing is this is what the music market needs! a British pop female Singer,We haven't got one if you think about it,Rihanna,Beyonce and Britney are all from the USA.
But I am glad she is still active having a amazing acting career
I'm gay but I loved Secret diary of a call girl
She wouldn't have a chance in today's market but it's obviously not something she's interested in. I think the reason we don't have a British equivalent of the global megastars is because American culture tells people to be the best, put on the best show, the bigger the better... death or glory. We don't have that in Britain. Britain's a great producer of pop groups because we like unity and focusing on individuals in a group (Take That, Spice Girls, One Direction, Girls Aloud, Sugababes, All Saints, The Wanted, JLS, I could go on and on...) whereas the USA isn't so interested in that.

I have only just discovered this track 'Caress The Gold'; the b-side to 'Walk Of Life'.
It's incredible and I can't get it out of my head.
I'm treating it as a new single that she just released or something... :idc:

David Tennant and Billie Piper are your favourite Doctor and companion of all time, according to a poll of more than 20,000 RadioTimes.com readers.
Tennant, who played the Tenth Doctor between 2005 and 2010, and will appear in the 50th Anniversary special The Day of the Doctor, romped home in the best Doctor vote attracting 56% of the vote.
Despite picking up a healthy 15%, incumbent Doctor Matt Smith was left a distant second, narrowly ahead of classic Who icon Tom Baker (10%) who played the Fourth Doctor between 1974 and 1981.
