He branded unknown rapper Micky Worthless a "*******ing queer" after he recorded a song mocking the X Factor winner for being a pop puppet.

In the sickening lyrics, Arthur raps: "You *******ing queer. Hilarious, precarious you Talibani confused, imbellic mimic of a gimmick."

The 25-year-old was angry after newcomer Worthless took a swipe at his credentials for winning the talent competition show.

In the offensive track, Arthur also brags about "making paper" - slang for earning money - and seeing loads of "boobies".

He raps: "You're a terrible rapper, you should shoot yourself."

Arthur mixes Toni Basil's hit Mickey in the song and brags: "I'm a genuine talent, not a brand."

Arthur was blasted by former contestant Lucy Spraggan and comedian Matt Lucas after the diss track spread online.

Back to Frankie ... I was very impressed with aspects of his book when I read it a few years back. He definitely has a political and social conscious. Maybe even a spiritual one. Just so you know, I have an uncle with downs syndrome and a girl I know well and had a thing with recently overcame cancer, but I'm still able to laugh at jokes about those issues, because they are just that...jokes. Jokes that are designed to see the lighter side of some of the darkest aspects of life. That doesn't change my opinions or feelings of those issues, but laughing at some statements that have no real meaning and have been written to provoke a few laughs at the sheer level of how 'shocking' a joke is doesn't make me some insensitive, emotionless ******. That's it, really.

I've seen Frankie Boyle live... I am not a sick get, I just have a very broad minded, dark sense if humour... However, I did feel that that there are times during his show that he's purposely trying to shock rather than be funny and he loses the audience for a while.

Personally don't care about the actual slur, more the wider context of him acting like he's a hard man when he won Britain's campest singing competition and has more Twitter fights than hit records to his name. They always say watch you kick on your way up because they'll kick you back harder on your way back down, and I'd imagine there are a lot of people getting the steel toed boots on :laugh:

The guy's just a pillock really, if you had gone through that process to get to where you currently are, you'd better know your place and play by the rules in order to maintain that lifestyle you're accustomed to - but people with motor mouths and bad attitudes can't keep it to themselves; and when you give them an audience (however many thousand Twitter followers he has) it's just a recipe for disaster.
