Techno Help

I've got video on a memory stick which I can watch on my laptop but I want to watch it on my telly.
My tv has a USB socket on it, but when I plug it in , it says folder empty or something :shrug:
Any ideas anyone?

I think you have to play it VIA a laptop or computer.

FInd out what type of video format your TV plays then convert it if you can.

What file format is the video in? That could be the problem. If your TV accepts USB transfer then it should work.
