When a singer is singing a song they connect with, like, and have known some time too then the performance will have more meaning.

Sam Callahan showed tonight why he was in the 'live' finals in the first place and Luke really pulled the stops out too.

It really is time these daft themed weeks are done away with and that the acts,obviously with some guidance from their mentors get the chance to play to their strengths week after week with songs they 'want' to sing.
Rather than be treated like performing monkeys, forced to do things,and in these cases, forced to sing songs they would not naturally want much,if anything, to do with
