Not half of them even being original X Factor songs. http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z448/reeecerawwr/lmao.gif

That doesn't sound a good one for Tamera.
Hardly surprising to see someone singing 'Bleeding Love' and no surprise at all to see Nicholas doing 'The Climb'.

I love Luke but I think this could be cringe tbh
The rest all seem to suit but it's a dire list of predictable songs in all honesty, they should have done this theme in like week 3 with more acts
Also Joe getting invited to this but not Shayne like :bored: rude
Drew.

Tamera with a great song choice, and Luke tbh

What's Don't Let Go
I wondered this but then I googled it and realised that it's probably En Vogue? Little Mix covered it and songs that acts covered are eligible with this theme apparently

They really need to do that when there's literally loads of discographies they could use...
Jordan.

LOL at them trying to ride Little Mix's success from that song.

No actually they should have saved this theme until next week so they could sing two songs each, for a 'Best of X Factor' theme to only have six songs is well...a bit...sh*t
Also, clearly all of the VT's are going to revolve around the stories of how the songs were made popular by the respective acts and probably clips of them too. Now I can picture just about all of these VT's but then we get to The Climb...I mean, how the ****** are they going to try and sell Joe McElderry in this? With all respect to him I know his career these days is going pretty well but let's not pretend that his pop career was anything other than a disappointment

It was your favorite performance of the entire series.

my bad not remembering a song title diversely named Don't Let Go that wasn't even their single
Brother Leon

Was an over rated performance tbh. Their best performance, but not by any means an all time performance which it is made out to be at times.

Hannah Barrett - Hallelujah - I have a feeling that she'll be fantastic with this, but the judges will criticize her for being predictable while Nicholas is let off scott free.
Luke Friend - What Makes You Beautiful - I think Luke can do good with this if he Rocks it up. We'll see.
Nicholas McDonald - The Climb - Another dull song choice.
Rough Copy - Don't Let Go - I don't know why but I'm drawn to this song choice, I definitely think this one will make or break Rough Copy.
Sam Bailey - Bleeding Love - She'll shout through it and skip all the challenging notes Nicholas style.
Tamera Foster - Impossible - My favourite song on the list, but knowing Tamera's track record she'll fail epically on this song.

Spot on. And considering X factor has been going for a decade is all the more reason why 6 songs is paltry.
And Sam baileys choice is amazing

There's only two original songs on there :S And I love Rough Copy but I don't really see the point of them covering the song that was Little Mix's break out moment on the competetion.

The songs are predictable and (racially limiting.) Loved the fact that RC at Boot camp broke stereotype and unpredictably sang Little Things.
Why not have Hannah doing a 1D song. It may not be her style, but singing 1D will guarantee survival (Luke can book his place for following week).
Nicholas singing McElderry's ( actually it's Miley) the Climb is sooooo obvious abd predictable, why not have him sing something by JLS or at least Olly Murs.*
Sam B singing Bleeding Love is as about as predictable as a Vettel F1 victory. Couldn't sam b have sung Bad Boys by ABurke or Little Mix song?
* Still I think this is setting Nicholas for bottom 2 appearance (providing Tamera and Hannah are on later).

This show suffers from a complete lack of imagination. I don't really watch it anymore, but it's the same songs continuously recycled, and they have no interest in the talents of their group.
There are artists out there who may never have had a number one, but their songs are infinitely more beautifully pure than any of the s**t you get to hear a karaoke version of year after year.
I'd win this show at a canter, just by making my artists interesting and sing different songs.
It's like they're all given the songs for the show at the start of every show, and then they have to shoehorn everyone in. If I worked in the music industry, I'd be embarrassed to have so little knowledge of other artists.

Thsi is so true. Themes and song choices have been terrible this year.

These are the songs the remaining X Factor contestants will sing this week:
