Just take a look at the thousands of nutters on the roads, they all passed, supposedly, so you will have NO problem.
Edit: re-reading that, it sounds a bit dodgy, wasn't meant to be!:wavey:
..:amazed:..oh wow, that's great news, Jake....it will give you a whole new independence when you pass your test..(which you will..)...and when you do, I'm sending you a SAT Nav and some petrol money and you're going to drive over and have a cup of tea with me..well, coffee actually, I don't do tea...I might even adopt you....

I'm going to take lessons after Xmas :/
..Oooo, well done, Lee..it really does make a huge difference, especially if you live in more remote areas, like I do...

Yeah, independence and not relying on public transport are my main reasons lol... and that sounds amazing! Stick the kettle on :amazed:

The first lesson is the most exciting one driving for the first time around an empty car park.. Then it all goes downhill and becomes scary when you have to take it out onto the road
Jake.

An instructor who books a FIRST lesson for night time shouldn't be instructing.
Edit: Unless it's classroom theory only.

Boys... boys! You're not driving. You're just steering! Promise me you'll learn to drive properly in a manual once you've passed your automatic test... with all the little old ladies.

12-12-2013, 10:35 AM
New drivers are likely to be involved in an accident within their first 5 lessons. Tonight's the night
Jake.
12-12-2013, 10:36 AM
Bit sick that, but with any luck it involves hitting the back of your van
Drew.
12-12-2013, 10:37 AM
You've done well to avoid one already
Jake.
12-12-2013, 10:40 AM
I know I'm really suprised, I thought that I'd be driving on the pathway or something
Drew.
12-12-2013, 10:43 AM

Jake.
12-12-2013, 12:31 PM

...awwww, you silly.....you've only had a few lessons and roundabouts are one of the more complicated things, so you're doing just fine, even when you've had more lessons and feel much more confident, there will be times that you go out and feel as though just about everything was wrong and feel rubbish about it ...but then the next time you go out, it all will go great and you'll be walking on air after the lesson and buzzing to take your test straight away...it's the same/been the same for all of us, Jake..that's what happens because you're doing a lot/thinking about a lot in the space of a short time and driving is a lot about repetition and you can only do that the more you drive..just keep doing the same thing...in another lesson or two, it will all just 'click', I promise you...please don't be down about it because it's honestly how we've all felt at one time but it doesn't last at all..you'll be driving those ladies around in no time at all...Cool Hand Jake.....

..yeah, but it feels like a lot to take for everyone who learns at the beginning, Jake...it isn't you so don't feel disheartened...I know exactly how you're feeling, I was like that as well but I hardly ever crash...it's no different to anything you do, it's just practise and practise and then it clicks and you'll be a great driver....when you started your job or your college course or other things you've done, you probably thought...ughhh, I have no idea what I'm doing..?...but you do....
