Most Loved #9 [Ceremony 9pm tonight!]

Well I thought perhaps we could do with some positivity around here, it's that time of year again... after much discussion, I decided to change how this works so that there's not so much pressure on rushing to take part etc. The plan is to close Round 1 next Tuesday evening and open Round 2, which will then close the following Tuesday (10th), giving me a few days to get everything good to go for the Saturday night (14th) for a 9.30pm start, should only take 2 hours that way! Then we have the TiBB Awards to look forward to the next day!

This is now how the ceremony will operate:

Round 1
You may nominate up to 15 users that you would like to see included in the countdown. You do not have to nominate 15, but the option is there if you wish to do so. At the end of the week, I will count up the nominations and the 50 users with the most nominations will qualify. For example, if 41 users have 5 or more nominations then they will qualify, and then the remaining 9 slots will be filled by the first 9 users to reach 4 nominations. If the final position(s) are filled by users nominated in the same set of nominations, then there will be more than 50 users in the countdown. In the past, the number of nominations received was multiplied by 3, but this will no longer be the case, nominations received in Round 1 will remain unchanged.

Round 2
A shortlist of the 50 users who have qualified for Round 2 will be posted in this thread and you then have a week to decide who you will vote for. You must select 10 users (I will not accept votes that have more or less than 10 users) and you must provide reasons for your nominations. You must indicate the order you are voting in, so typically the person you are giving 10 points to at the top of your message and the person getting 1 point at the bottom. Please do not include smileys or weird formatting in your PMs because it makes it more time consuming for me to copy and paste your PMs. Ideally your PM will look something like this:

The full week, last time it was open and shut in the space of an evening which was a bit ridiculous so basically it's good to get your nominations in sooner rather than later in the likely event that there will be ties for the last few positions but it's not necessary, you could do it next Tuesday morning and still be able to nominate and probably affect the outcome.

Then the last remaining places are decided by who reached the minimum number to qualify first. So if for example there are four users all tied for one remaining place, then the first of those four users to achieve the number of nominations they're currently on would get the place.
