He's done alot for football in this country. So many kids grew up wanting to be like him(Me included) and he's always been a great example like Drew said. He also proved you don't have to have amazing speed or dribbling to be succesfull winger as long as you worked hard on what you were good at and put in the hours to get even better. His work ethic can't be questioned.

He was a footballer, why does he need a "personality" to please you...Stop moaning for the sake of moaning tbh.

He won 6 Premiereships, but he wasn't the key figure in any of them. He played with better players. Cantona, Keane, Irwin, and lots of others. Man United suffered no dip at all when he was offloaded to Real Madrid.

He won the League in 3 other countries as a bit-part player. He's effectively been a a fashion icon and style guru since before he left United, and a passenger in the US and PSG and even at Real.

He's a fabricaion of the shallow celeb world, not a great footbaler.
